Microsoft, the world-renowned company is also investing a lump sum amount in wellness programs. This includes weight management, smoking cessation, and fitness training programs as well. The company also provides funds for a gym membership or else fitness-related equipment for its employees. 

For mental health, basketball, volleyball, and baseball courts are also present in the office for energizing the mind. Microsoft believes that mental care is equally important as physical care. Thus, Microsoft Care also offers an employee assistance program that includes stress management, family counseling and child and elder care, etc.

Many other companies like Accenture, Asana, draper, and SAS, etc are also following the path of these industry giants. This is the reason behind the success of all those names and why we hear these names often. 

This attention towards wellness programs shows us how essential it is to pay attention to physical and mental health. It not only helps you stay fit and active but also makes you more productive.

30 minutes for yourself for a healthy lifestyle 

Many studies have concluded that by giving half an hour for self, a person can change the entire lifestyle. As per Brian Tracy, “if you can get yourself to read 30 minutes a day, you are going to double your income every day”. If you are unable to take hours for gym or meditation, just make sure to give yourself 30 minutes per day.
